I literally jumped for joy when I got my copy of this book. I so enjoyed her first novel (Circle of Five), I knew this one would also be a great read. A circle of five Wiccan friends find themselves after another killer, and in the media spotlight once again. A young and wild-spirited girl has joined their ranks, with an unpredictable gift of psychokenesis.

The women continue to celebrate the Sabbats and esbats through the book, with wonderful rituals I would love to attend. The killer turns the tables on the women and they find themselves fighting for their own lives. A very suspenseful tale. There was less magick, and more down-to-earth sleuthing this time.

After 2 books now, I feel that I know the unique personalities of all 5 women as though they were real people.
There are more Cassandra Shipton novels to come, and I can't wait.
