Calling the Divine

By Talya Starfire

When the stars and the moon are high up above
I call on the Goddess and her consort, her love
The God with bronze skin and his voice deep and low
The Goddess in splendor with a silvery glow
Magick surrounds them in the deepest of night
Silver engulfs them and then there is light
The moon is her womb and stars adorn her hear
The summon the elements earth, fire, water, air
The God calls the air and it swirls around
The Goddess calls earth and then there is ground
Then comes the fire and it sputters and leaps
The Lady calls water, a pool appears deep
I bow down before them but they each take your hand
"Don't kneel my sweet child, for this is your land"
I look up and smile and their eyes are so kind
And I know I've found something not many can find
